ALEXANDRINA DE BALASAR

Recently I found in Alexandrina’s House, in Balasar, into  an old  little book, a leaflet where could be read this typewritten acrostic:

     Can you imagine, over there, friends dear,

     Alexandrina’s power, how to cure,

     Not by her own, but by divine power,

     Cancer, the dread disease, we all fear ?

     Exactly, that’s what really happened,

     Recently, in not so distant England !

     Cancer of the breast, a lady suffered,

     Until she’d recourse to her in prayer.

     Request was granted, «Madam, you are cured !»

     Exclaimed to her the dumbfounded Doctor.
